Oysters in Every Style T-Shirt
An oyster-house sign from the days when every waterfront had one: fat letters, an opened oyster from the 1889 Boston book and the bill of fare. Navy and signal red on grey.
From the log: Oysters were the cheap, everyday food of nineteenth-century port towns, and the oyster houses by the docks advertised them in every style: raw, stewed, fried or roasted.
