Galley & Gunpowder shirts are printed with pictures from real 19th-century type specimen books: small engraved cuts that American type foundries sold to printers in 1832 and 1889. We choose the ones that belong at sea and set them with type from the same decades, on a heavyweight, garment-dyed Comfort Colors 1717 tee. Printed from the 1800s to today.
