A ship’s charts lived in the chart room, where the navigator kept the course. The Chart Room brings six historic maps aboard, from 1606 to 1861: Benjamin Franklin’s chart of the Gulf Stream, the shoals of Nantucket, Mercator’s Arctic, Chesapeake Bay, the Outer Banks and the harbour of St. Augustine. Original engraved detail meets Galley & Gunpowder lettering on a heavyweight, garment-dyed Comfort Colors 1717 tee.
Pick your waters. Keep your powder dry. The maps behind the collection lists every chart, who made it and where the original is kept.
